Welcome to Taking it Personally

This podcast is an outlet for anyone who’s ever been told they’re “too much” or “overreacting”—you’re not. Hosted by a millennial (yikes) mom/comedian Michelle Yampolsky-Gomez, with big feelings and a sharp sense of humor, Taking it Personally jumps into NYC life, parenting, relationships, and societal nonsense with guests who kinda get it. If you’ve ever overanalyzed a text, felt left out, are overwhelmed by skincare or more, welcome to the crazy party: you’re in the right place.

About the Pod

Feeling Left Out? Come Hang Here.

If your friends made plans without you and you’re totally fine (but also replaying every interaction to find out where it all went wrong), welcome to the club. We forgive but we don't forget.

Guests Doing Cool Sh*t

We’re bringing in the boldest, funniest, and realest guests to talk all things from entrepreneurial lessons, parenting, relationships, and life’s chaos - and we find out what they take Personally, too.

Taking Everything Personally (Because It Is)

Your toddler’s attitude? Personal. That passive-aggressive work email? Personal. The weather? Also personal. We got your back.

For the “Too Much” Community

If you've been told your too much, welcome to your new community of fellow overthinkers and sensitive souls. Sometimes, taking it personally is the best way to feel understood.
